Jeaneatte Lee, the Black Widow, had to cancel an APA Black Widow Tour exhibition event in Tulsa last month due to an injury she sustained in her home. Jeanette has spent much of her time lately running a Black Widow Experience clinic in her hometown of Indianapolis. She enjoys teaching the game of billiards, especially the mental aspects.
Just before heading out to her clinic, she slipped down the stairs with a load of laundry and bruised her tailbone. She has been recovering at home and doing well, and the time off has given her a great opportunity to reflect on her life and career. She struggles to reach a balance between family life and striving to get back to the top of a competitive sport. “Don’t just be result oriented. Know that you are headed in a positive direction and praise yourself for each step you cross.”, she says.
We all wish her the best and hope to see her reach her goals of getting back to the top of the game, and reaching a balance in her family life. She is a positive influence in this sport.
